Holiday…Celebrate.

Have you ever seen “My Sweet 16″ on MTV? The show where millionare spoiled brats have their parents throw a party for them and then a camera follows them around as they complain about how they want a BMW and have to fly to Paris to find the right outfit. Augh!
Take out the spoiled brat part and my company Holiday party was JUST LIKE A SWEET 16 party.
It was at Chase Field. Yeah. The baseball stadium. Not a rented suite, but on the field. I think my table was set up around 2nd base (ok, insert what ever joke you want here).
It really was quite spectacular. The Gin Blossoms were the musical act, they served great food, poured heavy drinks and offered 4 star hotel rooms dirt cheap. It was a red carpet event with Danika Patrick, Candice Michelle and Amanda Beard. I haven’t heard the final tally, but I stopped keeping track of the $$ that we gave around around, $250,000!
At 11PM, the roof opened and they ended the night with a huge fireworks show.
Everybody looked so nice and shiny spruced up.
Keesha oversees recruiting and training programs for GoDaddy.com. She is responsible for building programs that attract and retain amazing employees. She attended Blinn College and Texas A&M University.
Keesha loves food and photography and is passionate about community volunteering. She doesn't like frosting!
I’m pleased to hear that a stadium can still provide a halfway decent venue for a holiday party. My employer has just about outgrown every resort ballroom in the area, so something like this is probably in my future.

We had about 2600 people at the party. we took up the whole field with buffet tables, 100s of video games around the perimeter and my boss collects motorcycles and they were on display too.
You had the Gin Blossoms at your holiday party?! Holy moly!! That is sweet.
We are going to lunch tomorrow. Ah, the difference between a 2,600 person company and a nonprofit of 7.
