Cupcake Cabana Launch at Chandler, AZ Marketplace
Feb 10th, 2008 by admin
From Dad: It’s all about market research. Look around and see what people are buying, pay attention to see who stops at your table. Learn about your target demographic.
What I learned from my analysis; I’ve got the same tastes as an 11-year old girl.
The hottest selling item this weekend in Arizona was one of my favorite offerings, the Cupcake metal dog tags: You can get them either as a cupcake necklace or key chain/charm.

One of my other goals was to meet my neighbors at the marketplace and get tips/scoop/insight on how to be successful at one of these things.
Michelle at The Pink Armadillo is a busy bee and she creates beautiful jewelry out of metal and beads that she hand crochets. I had no idea you could crochet metal. Her store is still under construction, but you can order anything via email.
Lisa was the show stopper in our row and was always busy with her Cookie Lee jewelry counter.
Mike at mepavlik@yahoo.com builds lathart and shared a whole list of free festivals I could participate in around Arizona.
Keesha oversees recruiting and training programs for GoDaddy.com. She is responsible for building programs that attract and retain amazing employees. She attended Blinn College and Texas A&M University.
Keesha loves food and photography and is passionate about community volunteering. She sits on the board of directors for the Junior League of Phoenix and in her free time you will find her baking and working on her empire Cupcake Cabana. Her most private cupcake confession? She doesn't like frosting!
I like the tags too - but I think I act more like a 12 year old so I’m probably older than you and now I want a bracelet I found on Michelle’s site and I LIVE in Chandler and can’t figure out what/where is this freakin’ Chandler Marketplace of which you speak. Breathing now.
Those dog tags are awfully cute. I can see why they were popular! I especially like the lime-green and violet ones.
Sorry I couldn’t stop by today. I don’t live particularly close to Chandler, but maybe someday I’ll make it to the market. Have you thought about cupcake luggage tags? It would be a great way to have your bag stand out from a dozen lookalikes at baggage claim.
