Lemon Lavender Cupcakes on a Monday

I found the coolest online photo editing website called Picnik and I’ve been going crazy with it. I’ve messed with saturation levels, color adjustments, overlays. You name it and I’ve tried to apply it to a picture. Hence, the photo of this Lemon Lavender cupcake with the big ol smooch on it. I can’t help myself it’s so much fun.
I’m super lucky that there was one of these delicious cupcakes left over from a friend’s weekend dinner get together. I found this little gem sitting on my desk at work. It’s the Lemon Lavender cupcake recipe from Chocylit and it’s delicious. The cake was light and fluffy and the lavender used in the cupcake was hand picked right out of my friend’s backyard. I think I mentioned that I don’t like frosting, but this one could almost make me a convert.
I posted this photo to my sister’s MySpace a few days ago and she just now caught that there was something just a little off in the picture. Every time I look at it I laugh so hard I cry. Sorry Liz.
