Symbiosis Institute of Business Management is currently rated as one of the top 5 B-schools in India. It was established in 1978 in Pune.

Postal MBA is recognised by Distance Education Council (DEC). Admission to distance learning courses takes place in April. The duration of MBA regular course is 2 years. It has 4 semesters. The executive program duration is 30 months.
Eligibility for MBA:
A student must be a graduate from a recognised university. A student appearing in final year examination is also eligible to apply.

Diploma holder with 5 years of work experience in the capacity of a supervisor after the courses completion.
Or
A postgraduate in any discipline
Or
NRI`s who have completed graduation from accredited university.
Besides the above criteria a student must qualify in the written test conducted by Symbiosis, SNAP. The exam takes place in December. Students have to register in the month of September. GD and interview follow SNAP. There is a provision for online registration also. Students have to register only online for SIBM, Bangalore.
